BBS RX bends like a soft erection.  BBS RC's is the one to get.

The RXs were the stock BBS wheels put on the 1991-92 GTI 16Vs
and Jettas (okay, the years might be slightly off).  They are SOFT!
I have personally bent one and two others were not really that well
balanced also.  They are a known quantity:  avoid them!

Those weren't RXs, not even close... but I've heard the same thing,
that they're mondo-soft.

Nope.  I some Tire Rack propagand that explains the 
differences in the manufacturing process.  Basically the RCs are made
via some process that produces a wheel that nearly as strong and light
as a forged wheel, but at a manufacturing cost that's closer to a
"conventional" cast wheel...

Whoa!  The RXs are super strong wheels.  I had a set from a gut that
turned Abt wheels into eggs, and when I put those RXs on the spin
balancer, they were perfect, absolutely perfect.  I had a few run-ins
with pot holes myself as well.  I really regret the day I sold them...
but such is life.  And for 200 bucks less than the RCs, to somebody like
my self, and the majority of people on this list, 2 pounds in weight
savings doesn't seem worth it.
