Below are the parts lists for the shifter bushings. Prices are included but
may be different from each VW dealer:
433-253-115-A  Cat gasket $8.22
357-711-124-A  Bushing    $1.75
357-711-166-A  Bushing    $1.93
357-711-217    Bushing    $1.75
357-711-590-B  Bushing    $2.52
357-711-590-C  Bushing    $2.52

If you replace all bushings in the shifter, it will take care of the sloppy
shifter.

PS.
You have to remove the Catalytic converter and heat shield to get to the
shifter. The console will also have to be removed to get to the top bolt
retaining the shifter box to the tunnel.
