My car was doing the same thing. The dealer replaced the slave cylinder and
every thing was okay for about a week when the noise came back. The next
time they replaced the slave cylinder again, the clutch, pressure plate,
through out bearing and resurfaced the flywheel. Every things been good so
far but I just got the car back on Monday. I think if you get it fixed you
will be surprised how much more smooth your clutch feels

I have the same problem. It appeared first at around 20k, dealer fixed
it, now it's back again at 48k. What ya gotta do is remove the slave
cylinder (2 bolts I think) down near the tranny and lube the push rod
connected to it. The dealer won't do it for free this time, so I'll be
trying to figure it out too. Good luck!

Got mine looked at by the dealer, and the mechanic told me that the
wear pattern on my pressure is what's causing the creaking sound. I had always
thought that the clutch return spring is what's causing the noise.

The verdict was that there really isn't anything that can be done about the
noise but to live with it . . . unless i wanna fork out the $$$ to get a
clutch replacement. And since we're on this topic . . .has anyone gotten a
complete clutch job with aftermarket parts from . . . Sachs, maybe? How does
it perform in comparison with the stock clutch. Does it increase the clutch
pedal pressure (something i really wnat).

Thanks.

afternoon all,

Quick question: should the clutch hydraulic system be bled when bleeding
the brake hydraulic system since they both share the same
fluid reservoir and i think they both share the same master cylinder with
each having its own slave cylinder ?
I'm trying to figure out why my clutch is creaking (in the engine bay when
hot) and it seemed to have occured at around the same time i had the brake
fluid changed at the dealer....

thanks much....
