The 94-95 A3 VR6's have the higher spring perch in the front. So
when VW lowered the perch in 96 and up VR6 cars Neuspeed
didn't want to have 2 different springs for the same car. So the set
up for VR6's with lowering springs are for all the A3 VR6's. So
when you see the reference to "must use Neuspeed springs" that
is why.
So if you run a 96&up A3 VR6 with the stock lower (BETTER)
spring perch and want to run a stock spring for SCCA SOLO II.
Then the easy way to remember is Corrado VR6 front (has the
lower spring perch also) and the recommend rear for your car.
One last thing. I (VIC) recommend Koni's for SOLO II.
