Sat a friend and I installed a Turn 2 quick release rear stress
bar on my car. The bar is black chromoly w/adustable fittings on
both ends. You bolt two polished aluminum brackets to your shock
towers (mounted vertically), slide the bar into the brackets, insert
two blue anoldized pull pins (pull the ends and smaller pins on
the other end retract for removal) , and turn the bar just to the
point its starting to tighten up (connecting points on the bar
are reverse threaded). Removing it takes about 10 sec. It definitely
tightens up the rear of the car and since it bolts in it gives
me the piece of mind I was looking for.

The most time consuming part was bolting on the brackets b/c we
didn't remove the rear shocks. We loosened them up at the top,
jacked up the rear of the car and that gave us just enough room
to tighten them down. The bolts are button head allen bolts. The
nuts fit into a recessed area in the bracket that keeps them from
turning (nice touch). It would have taken the same or less time
if we had just removed the shocks completely b/c the area is so
tight (the scabs are slowly going away on my right knuckles). I
cut two holes in the carpet for the brackets and it looks like
it could be stock.
