Miguel,
Thanks, dude! Unfortunately, I got a little impatient waiting for a response
(forgot I had digest mode on, plus the sun was going down and the rental car
had to go back soon) so I just hooked it up anyway. No problems, no noise,
so I think whatever bubbles were in the system worked themselves out pretty
quickly.

FWIW, if you're interested in doing this job yourself, it is pretty
straightforward. I have never done any sort of major auto work before, but
it only took about 4 hours, including a run to Sears for tools and a run to
a machine shop to remove a stripped bolt head on the pulley.

Two things to note: 1) The Bentley says there are four bolts holding the
pump to the bracket; there are really five -- two front and three rear. 2)
The banjo bolt that holds the pressure line to the output port of the pump
is a rather large bolt -- 23mm, I think. But a 7/8" socket fits just fine.
And it was torqued down pretty damn hard and/or gummed up. My wrist still
hurts from trying to wrench that thing off.

Later,
--Matt
