Someone had mailed me about the sound deadener pad a said something about a
few days ago. I lost his e-mail, so I'll just post it to the list.

The pad I purchased from MCM Electronics was 32"x54"x0.07" thick. It's
basically a thin piece of tar with a peel and stick back. You can shape it
very easily with a heat gun to fit the curves in your car. I bought 3 pieces
that size and it was enough to do the whole trunk, rear deck lid, and under
the back seat in my 99 Sentra SE. All I did was pull the carpet out, and
then slather the stuff basically anywhere I could find metal.

The biggest advantage was no more headaches from my muffler. But, it also
made other things alot quieter. Just the road noise was less noticealbe,
expecially in the rain. My stereo was less muddy sounding too.

Hope this helps whoever was asking.
