The other day the same thing happened to me and I just disconnected the
battery for a min and reconnected it and that reset the head unit again and I
had three more chance's.

I know the Clarions require you to wait an hour or so after fscking up the
code entry 3 times. I'm surprised that doesn't work for the Panasonic, as
well. At any rate, I would attempt to check with another dealer. We've
seen a thousand times before that dealer experience varies, so another may
have the answer. If you don't have any around, you could at least try
calling one from out of town. FWIW, my dealer service department seemed to
hav it at least a little together when talking about the factory radios.
They even replaced my radio under warranty when I had my "unauthorized
modifications" connected (amp and crossover).
