Before I removed my ECU to put the chip in, I took note of the placement and
color of the paint on the mounting screws. It was sort of off-white, creme
colored. After replacing it, I put Buff-colored White-Out on the bolts.
Looks stock.
As for the 4 torx screws, when I removed them and put them back on, the blue
paint was still in good shape. But just to be safe, use a blue Sharpie on
those suckers, being careful to align any marks on the screw-head to the
marks on the ECU itself.
