The oil cooler I installed is a Turn 2 (Jason Whipple) cooler. The
cooler and thermoplate fitting are Mocal and the SS lines are Goodrich.
The thermoplate fitting mounts in front of/up against the stock
oil/coolant exchanger mounted on the front of the block to the right of
the filter housing (when facing the front of the car). Once the car's
oil temp hits about 200 the thermoplate allows the oil to flow through
the cooler. The cooler mounts on the drivers side frame rail at a slight
angle towards the fender. If you're looking at the car from the front
you can see the cooler through the opening below the turn signal/fog
light. It's a tight setup, but it seems to have plenty of airflow. If
you have an auto trans (GLX only) this space is already taken up by the
cooler for the transmission. Oil capacity increases by 1/2 to 3/4 of a
quart. I paid $375 for the kit.
