Hmm, had a look at the wett page (www.chip-tuning ) and seems as
though they do claim 16hp...but then again they also want 295 bux! You
can get the GIAC for like 130 and we're all SURE the gains he claims are
for real...with the wett, it's kinda a gamble. NTM, 16 horse is quite a
bit for not changing exhaust, intake, etc...seems almost
impossible...also wett is giving you flywheel numbers, not wheel

I don't know man...don't get me wrong, 16 horse is a huge gain, and I'd
love to believe it's true, but with such a big gain it almost makes me
wonder if it isn't bad for the engine...Just for reference, I remember
reading an article about chip tuning the a4 1.8t when it first came out.
Wett was one of the chips they tested, and while it had the most gains,
it also made the turbo glow visibly red hot...just something to think
about.
Bottom line: I'm not a GIAC nazi, but my v11 has been good to me...and
MANY others.
