Rear tail light bulb
Part N 0177185
Cost me $1.80 from the local VW dealer.
It's so easy to replace, I did it in the parking lot of the dealer in less than 5 minutes
without any tools. Yes, you go through the trunk, peel the carpet away, and undo the
taillight cover (like removing the battery cover in some remote controls). All the bulbs
in that cluster are accessible from here.
They want $50 to replace it??!!?? Send me $25 and I'll call it even. It'll help me with
my $480 coil pack dealer reaming I took a few weeks ago.
